While in Belfast this past July to play a show at Mandela Hall, Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner sat down and recorded acoustic takes of a couple beloved Boxer tracks. Our tipster, Comprachio, mentions that the "filming took place in a kitchen set from an upcoming Irish independent movie which was on a break from filming." We get "Apartment Story" minus the dance party and a "Slow Show" that goes sparer than Fair Game. It was captured on tape by Will McConnell from Bandwidth, an indie filming organization who're launching a series of live performances. This is the first. The angle's a bit odd, but it offers an interesting fly-on-the-wall vantage.
