As the world is flooded with corruption and a virus in the hip hop generation. I young prodigy was born.Di Earle Brigham also known as Dee or Righteous was born on March 19th 1979 in Wichita Falls,TX. His father was a military driven man with no father for example. As Dee grew up he was introduced to all the things most kids during the 80's were exposed to like Fat Albert,Dukes of Hazzard, Gi Joes the typical commercial products that were introduced to people during that time. His father left Texas to make sure his family had food to eat and a place to stay because Wichita Falls, was too crazy and there was not much to live off of there,so his father joined the military. This move took Dee to different places including Germany(2x).When his family finally got back from being stationed overseas. They arrived in Colorado Springs,CO which they had already been once.Di Earle had already been exposed to hip hop in the eastern coast and overseas. He would listen to tracks by Kool Moe Dee and Whodini, There so many to mention, Biz Markie,Mc Lyte,Mc Hammer,Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff.The radio would play do much hip hop, This child soon to be well known artist grasped the concept of all these songs well and would recite the words everday like a ritual. Soon he had the question was it possible to take your own voice and record your own raps that you make or think in your head. Being in Colorado, many teens also loved hip hop and Dee wanted to stand out. In Junior High he listed to all the hardcore greats like Epmd,Redman,Das Efx,Tupac.He wanted very dearly to expose his self and meet others who could express themselves this way. He met some friends on the street called H-Mob they were typical West Coast Gangsta rappers, and they showed him the ways of recording and performing in public. After one show he knew he had to keep doing this until he put his name out there more amd more. There were talent shows at school and Dee would sign up for all of them. The second show was the one to really get him sparked.One Day in class he over heard his 9th grade teacher speaking about countries and armies having Conflict.He thought to his self, man what a crazy word to describe war and rebellion to a certain type of life. That way of life was unconscious and savage. So he saw his self as Conflict because he conflicted with everything that ever happened to him that was negative. However, spelling it the usual way would not work, so he heard the K sound and changed it to "Konflikt" to signify his own mark. That was in 1993. Also this year was when a lot of the truest hip hoppers came out like Lords of the Undergroud,and Wu Tang Clan, Ultimately being heavily influenced by Wu Tang. Konflikt was around High School and started to wonder why life was so typical and how come things were so controlled by a sour and bitter fate. He questioned why was he here, well his quest for knowledge led to meet with friends, These explained to him things about the 1 dollar bill and the writings on the back of it. These friends were the 5% Nation of Gods and Earths. They taught him the science of everything in life, love peace and happiness.He would listen to these brother build and during that time he was already in a gang while being only 15 years old. This gang was the Gangster Disciples. He thought maybe these guys would help him with getting more things he wanted in life, these gang members left him in a neighborhood of the opposite gang where he got his ass jumped twice. He asked the other members what was going on, but most of them didnt' trust each other. They actually thought he was a informant.Well Dee already abandoned and felt he just needed to stand strong and take care of things his self. He dropped the pork and pick up books in replace of it. He knew being conscious was 100% better. Konflikt was conflicting a savage way of life that was dead and hopeless. He's kept the name since.Hoping to enlighten others to keep there minds on positive even during hard times and negativity of this harsh corrupt system. He figured you don't have to submit to evil, just learn to build over it or against it. Peace to the Gods and The Earths!
