A train leaves the station at 5:30pm in the afternoon. It arrives at its destination at 5:45pm. This seems impossible when the track was anything but straight, but its destination was only an illusion and the real point of awareness was in this moment. We need a different vehichle. One that would allow us to fly and deliver a message through the air, through the sound waves. This message would take the form of music, and the few that heard it would understand something they didn't before. Whether about themselves, their surroundings, or the intangible laws that govern day to day life, the words would be spread and the connections between people would grow. Music would be the new society!
The Ryan Express isn't as synonymous with a person as much as it is with the erratic nature of people and their emotions to create something that will travel with them no matter where they go. It becomes an identity only because time makes it distinct from any other moment. It becomes a structure of a sentence only when we speak it.
Memories serve us best to encapsulate the moment in a song which we can revisit again and again. The music from The Ryan Express defines a man at different moments in life and by different events that have transpired to create a vision of the identity you become to know. This intimate approach to songwriting triggers the development of a story. He is here to bring you a message.

Record releases from The Ryan Express
MultiDose Records makes possible the recording and publishing of the works by The Ryan Express. 2 albums to date have been released. They are the Self Titled CD and the Please Be Seated EP.
The Self Titled CD features songs such as "The Colors of the Sky" and "Theres Another" that suspend the listener in a dark environment full of ambient noises. The Please Be Seated EP was carefully mastered and produced featuring the songs "Aphrodite" and "Too Good" that by comparison reveal a more radio friendly side colored with passion and intimacy.
